several months? ouch, thats the problem with google I notice, reminds me of google glass, it was so up in the air everyone lost interest in it, same thing with their smartphones, limited releases and really not much talk about or advertisement about them, is it still several months today? and why the invite? I have noticed that with similar products and services now a days, "the invite" its like feeling you are on top of the world when they accept you into their club..... Im hoping the wait time has shrunk to a few weeks, so when I sign up I wait for the approval of the invite I sent, once 1-3 months passes and I get the invite I sign up for the service and buy the phone that same day. is that how it works?
That's how it works. I would think the wait would be pretty short by now, but who knows, they may be trying for that "exclusive club" concept still. Good luck!
I don't understand where you guys live or how you look for deals but I got Tmobile and everything is unlimited I think 4G LTE is limited to 2.5GB and all that I am paying 23 dollars per person on a 6 family plan So where in the world canyou get that cheap? Please tell me
the new plan they have out is unlimited talk text and 10gigs per phone 4gLTE for $30 a person, now you still have to buy the phone out right or have one unlocked, so if you do decide to get a shiny new smartphone for $600 you have to factor that in until the price of the phone is paid in full, if you "lease" the phone you have to pay an additional $8 + $2 tax for insurance....not a bad plan if you have the phone paid in full, I know Im getting ripped off by paying the amount I do thats why I want to grab one of those family plans and start saving money.
If you paid an extra $100 or even $200 for a smartphone with more storage, you got ripped off. http://money.cnn.com/2015/08/14/tec....html?iid=ob_homepage_tech_pool&iid=obnetwork
Finally, the spread is compressing: T-Mobile has what sounds like a compelling iPhone 6S deal: $20 a month http://money.cnn.com/2015/09/10/technology/tmobile-iphone-6s-deal/
Why You Shouldn’t Buy the Nexus 6 Right Now http://www.gottabemobile.com/2015/07/21/why-you-shouldnt-buy-the-nexus-6-right-now/
From 7/21/2015??? Things change so fast in the smartphone world, if you didn't know, the nexus 6 that was over $600 is now priced at a stunning $350, you cannot pick up any smartphone on the market with those specs for $350....every phone I have looked into is priced well above $650, some as high as $800-$1000, you would have to be a dumb fool to buy any smartphone for anything more than $400 in todays market.
I was just invited to project Fi. Bought a Nexus 6P. $30/M unlimited voice/text/1GB data. We'll see. I still think this is too high and should be $20/M for the same service since I payed for the phone.
I have yet to sign up for project fi but I just did get a nexus 6 for a very good price, I was going to wait for their new phone releases but didn't want to spend more than $350 bucks for a smartphone, I refuse refuse refuse to spend more than that.....now Im onto to lower my monthly phone bill, ATT is ripping me off and I know it so Im switching out in the next week or so to either project Fi or some family plan where I can get everything I have now for about $$40 cheaper a month...so nearly $500 a year savings.... is 1GB enough? I use on average between 3-5GB a month but I use my unlimited 4g at home without going over to Wi Fi.... when I sign up for project fi Im going to do the 3GB plan, if I don't use Ill just get credit back the following month!!
