Landis, I don't recall either of them saying it was sold for a profit. She stated in her nomination speech that she put it on EBAY, but she never diclosed for how much. And yes they obviously took a loss on it, but so do we as traders. Point is, the money went back to the state.
A logical person wonders what the new cost of ferrying prisoners back and forth to Arizona is now, as opposed to simply maintaining and refueling an already-paid-for state jet. I'd not be surprised to find this is another net loser for the state of Alaska under Palin's administration.
I thinkit would be alot cheaper to maintain and fuel a good old fashion school bus, like they use in most states. But again you show no economical intelligence.
