The IMFâs team of monkeys has been working around the clock on this one, figuring that developed nations can increase their overall tax revenue by increasing tax rates. Theyâve singled out the US, suggesting that the US government could maximize its tax revenue by increasing tax brackets to as high as 71%. http://www.sovereignman.com/trends/the-imf-wants-you-to-pay-71-income-tax-13285/
Dude nobody cares.... Don't you know that I am an 18 year old kid with 2 k retail trading account fidgeting with RSI and moving averages. Oh and I post on ET. LOL What do I care that IMF is 80% funded by United States FED, and that they are one and the same. I prefer to dream my sweet dreams till the day the reality literally sends me out on the street to ask other people What The Hell Is Going On. I am Hungry. Why is the street blocked with cops and army. You gotta love your average American, exercising right to be dumb right till the last second.
Old news : A review of the economic research on the effects of raising ordinary income tax rates Recent research implies a revenue-maximizing top effective federal income tax rate of roughly 68.7 percent. This is nearly twice the top 35 percent effective marginal ordinary income tax rate that prevailed at the end of 2012, and 27.5 percentage points higher than the 41.2 percent rate in 2013.2 This would mean a top statutory income tax rate of 66.1 percent, 26.5 percentage points above the prevailing 39.6 percent top statutory rate. Analyses of top tax rate changes since World War II show that higher rates have no statistically significant impact on factors driving economic growthâprivate saving, investment levels, labor participation rates, and labor productivityânor on overall economic growth rates. ------------------
Do you know that the US income tax is unconstitutional to begin with? Here are some eye-opening facts... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hBTtS9lfW_M
Well, then show us the exact US law that says US citizens (living in the US or abroad) have to pay an income tax. We are all ears.
It's called....... hold on...... wait for it...... Internal Revenue code is the law that requires us to pay taxes.
It's called...hold on ...wait for it...INCOME tax. We are talking about the INCOME tax here skippy, not the tax on booze, cigarettes, groceries or ...stupidity. And again, there is NO LAW that says US citizens have to pay an INCOME tax: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hBTtS9lfW_M
Good thing there isn't a stupid tax, you wouldn't be able to afford it. Read the code, it covers personal income. Just because someone on YouTube says it's true doesn't mean it is. Please remove the tin foil from your head and do some thinking for yourself.
