    Agree with all

Apparently they're only marginally more serious about the deficit than the democraps.

  4. When Dick Morris has a sore throat, Yannis has a speech impediment.

Thomas Harris is working on a novel about the aftermath of Rush Limbaugh, Dick Morris, Sarah Palin, Michele Bachmann, Rasmussin et al all driving over a cliff. The working title is The Silence of the Sheep.

I'm thinking that the Republicans are in a place that's.. not what voters want. They passed a balanced budget amendment in the Reagan Era and Democrats took it to the Supreme Court and got it tossed out.. so Republicans know that we are stuck with ever increasing government so they say "f^&k it, let's cash in on this, there isn't anything else that makes sense"... so they deregulate, cause crises that they cash in on, support the military expenses, etc... they are sort of the lackeys of the Democrats really..

What is astounding is the Democrats resolve to expand government even in the face of diminishing revenues. They really are out to destroy the US and turn it into a Soviet Russia..

The Tea Partiers are the only real Americans in the sense that they want the constitution to be interpreted as it was meant to be originally...

  8. "Airline tickets are going to get cheaper Saturday unless Congress can reach an agreement before midnight on extending authority for the Federal Aviation Administration, which gives airlines the ability to collect taxes on behalf of the government.
If the FAA's authority is not extended, airlines would no longer have the authority to collect federal taxes, which according to the Air Transport Association, is about $61 on a $300 round-trip airfare."
