Actually, it does not even go far enough. If I had power to do so, I would require two things: 1) A valid photo ID and 2) a sworn statement signed by the voter, affirming that he or she is a US citizen and of legal age to vote, not a convicted felon whose voting rights were suspended or taken away. That by signing that sworn statement, it would be used as evidence if perjury was committed by the voter in casting his or her vote. That should get rid of 95% of cheaters in US elections. I do not discount that they can still cheat by running ballots over tabulating machines multiple times, having the voting machines change the vote cast for the opposite candidate which has happened even in the past. That part, they need to charge and prosecute any company owning voting machines that allow its machines to facilitate cheating of any kind. Software should be set permanently, and should not be subject to manipulation as the elections on November 3, 2020.
