Texas Instruments announces lower revenue estimate midpoint By Benjamin Pimentel Last update: 4:41 p.m. EDT March 10, 2008 SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) - Texas Instruments Inc. on late Monday announced a lower mid-point for its first-quarter revenue estimate. The chipmaker said it expects revenue of between $3.21 billion and $3.35 billion, compared with the previous estimate of $3.27 billion and $3.55 billion. TI's revenue target midpoint dropped to $3.28 billion, from $3.41 billion. The company also said it expects earnings a share of between 41 cents and 45 cents, compared with the previous range of 43 cents and 49 cents.
