I cannot understand this ruling. It makes no sense to my why they cannot ask the question.

This left win takes over the headlines and casts a shadow on the abhorrent gerrymandering ruling that no one is reporting

  4. How do you and your ilk know that you have won yet?

It was remanded to the lower court, and the issue of whether the census can be moved out until it is settled is yet to be determined.

Not denying that it is win in the short term, as the Travel Ban was, until it wasn't.

  5. because residing in the USA has nothing to do with being a citizen of the USA. the collected information about citizenship through the census is the same as asking them " do they like broccoli or not?" you need to have a reason and purpose to ask such questions. the data, It is used to help determine where to build new schools, roads, health care facilities, child-care and senior center which has nothing to do with citizenship.

This is true. The Trump administration argued they had to have a ruling by the end of June to start printing the forms.

They came in on a lie and probably left on a lie.

The 2020 census will be used to redraw political districts, a representation of voters. If it were only used as you say, no problem. But when non-citizens are included in the count, with the potential of affecting House votes - Then we have a problem.

  8. don't we have the gerrymandering to handle issue like that?

If the number of Congressional seats is based on a State’s population, why should it include non-citizens? Why should a state with a large number of non-citizens be given extra voting power?
