Well , when I enter I usually just enter with a mkt order , cause markets move fast. I use the ZLT software to do manage my stop work, use to use button, bracket, zlt is amazing and cheap. Some dood who wrote that must be one incredible programmer.
I trade patterns on the 60 minute chart , so usually the profit target is the a bar movement of the 60 minute chart or part of it at least hopefuloly like 20 - 50 ticks - 100 ticks ( 3-4 hours) as my profit target. It also depends on the day and the instrument, I watch 4 instruments right now eurusd ES CL GC So today CL had a kick ass pattern setup for 60 ticks i missed while picking myt ass , but i did get the GC, ES is uually bulemic , pattern setup every 2-3 days max not today. When watching multiple markets, the good thing is, at least something is wsetting up each day instead of watcihing ES chop for 2-3 straight on a 8 handle range, which sucks. 32 ticks on the whole day range is ridicolousss.v no reason to even get in a position like that considering 2 tick spread enter/exit, 1 tick commission , 3 ticks to bite you in the ass right there. right there! mang! ridoipclous
