Her hedge fund, which she opened earlier this year thanks to the money she earned pole dancing, is called Marx NY Capital LLC. Marx, 24, who was previously employed by HQ Gentlemanâs Club in Hellâs Kitchen, now "specializes" in domestic equities, options, commodities, global commodities including crude, PGMs and precious and base metals, according to her LinkedIn profile. She's been extremely active in social media spheres discussing her fund's performance and strategies. On October 2, she posted on Facebook that Marx NY Capital was up 160% YTD. We're not sure how but on September 29th, she tweeted that she was up 74% in one day on Ralph Lauren calls. On September 27 she posted on Facebook her experience studying for the Series 3 (typos are hers): "Taking the series 3 test nest week , red the book for 3 min and sad hey I know this stuff already, I will just take the test skip the studyyy ahead..I remember I never liked homework I used to read my homework off an empty page to my teachers ( Improvising homework last minute)" Then on September 30, she said she got her first investor. Here's how she describes him: "My first investor looked like Warren Buffett he had white hair and big black glasses. I was pitching so well that he would buy instantly stocks based on my hints even though he was a 45 year Wall Street Veteran and I was a baby on Wall Street." In August she tweeted at T Boone Pickens, "HOWDY COWBOY." Earlier today she Tweeted, "I own Puts again, by the time I want to short cover...like the rest.... it will be time to add more Puts. Dead cat bounce!" OK. So it seems like she has the vocabulary of a hedgie, but after searching the SEC website for her fund's filings, we were not able to retrieve any. Perhaps that's because only hedge funds above a certain size have to register with the agency (the rules are still being written). Her office address is a residential building. Managing money apparently isn't her only talent. Marx is also a rapper. She recently released single available on iTunes called "Eat All Your Puffs." (We're not sure what that means.) Back to what happened to her stripper career. In 2008, Marx filed a complaint with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission against HQ Gentlemen's Club alleging her bosses tried to "coerce" her into having sex. Now she's going after them again. From the New York Post: This week, Marx filed new papers, claiming club officials found a way to harass her even after firing her: They made public her Social Security and cellphone numbers by including them in their rebuttal to her complaint.
