Could you give me some information on how you identified this trade. I still have difficulties with the rocket setup. I basically understand that on a rocket the stochastics are running alongside the 80 line, we have macd positive and volume increase. I have also seen pictures posted in this thread, but I still don't know how to enter. Do you enter just as the stochastic hits the 80 with support of unusual volume or is there more to it? Congratulations on your trade
Here's a nice reference for Hershey Rockets. I am by no means an expert at this setup yet. Today's was only my 3rd rocket trade. Maybe others can chime in. Good luck.

This happens as the market opens with stocks that have not started trading yet and are still showing yesterday's volume figures... keep turning the alerts off and they will stop as each stock starts trading for the day...
Hey Jakey, how'd you choose BUCY? I did a quick check on my screener page on IB for "Top % Gainers" and it was on that list. I don't normally use that scanner because it can be a bit of a "grab bag".
What a great catch for the day, wish you could share BUCY with us earlier. It is a no rank stk but your wider/larger hunting ground would be a thing for me to think about. A modifier of JH's, are you? @ L.I.
stevegee and bucherwin, No secrets here. I was looking at a stocktables output sheet and saw BUCY at near the top of the Unusual Volume list. I checked out the 5 min chart and everything said "Buy" to me. I also checked the 30 min and daily for a warm feeling Note that BUCY ended up 12% higher, but a rocket trade would offer less than those results and would have only traded within the first hour of trading yesterday (from what I've read). You'd need to get out when the slow stochastics turns below 80, on the 5 min chart. I'm still learning Rockets. Didn't stumble on one today though, but I might have missed one or two.
