  1. Glad to see you have found a way to continue profiting from Hershey Stocks. I don't really consider what you do 'front running' in the general sense of the word, and even if I did, I hold to the comments I made back in Journal One. I neither move mountains, nor markets. Many different types of traders, with varying agendas, find their way into a Hershey Stock for innumerable reasons. We occasionally have Jim Cramer, and his show Mad Money, to thank for sending our stocks skyward. If not for what you term 'front running' we wouldn't receive the volume signal alerting us to enter a trade. Besides, sometimes those 'front runners' get it wrong, and their rapid exit, sends price plummeting - saving the rest of us a major loss. That is what makes a market. Without everyone playing their role, the markets wouldn't move an inch.

As long as your methods continue to make you money, you just keep on trading the way you have, and enjoy the rewards. I certainly haven't felt your hands in my pockets. Plenty of money in the market for us all.

Good Trading to you, and thanks for keeping us updated on your progress.

Today TASR's price action went against my position, but my analysis still holds, so I'm sticking with my trading plan: entered long at $10.71, stop offset $9.9. The volume seems to confirm that the last couple of days' price drop was a retracement.

  3. the reality is that these stocks are just 'darn good stocks'.
when you combine high quality with high repeatability (20% cycles)...you have a knock out combo. I've come to believe that you actually have to TRY to screw this stuff up.

as long as your entering somwhere in the 1-0-7 PV cycle, you are pretty much good to go. (and using logical stop offsets).

these stocks just have a general desire to rrrrrriiiiiisssssseeeeee

so technically, if you enter at the 1 portion, and someone else enters at the 0...and someone else enters at 7....Zero is 'front running' one, who is frontrunning seven...however, you have some FBO considerations during 1...whereas 7 has profit potential considerations...it's just a tradeoff.

good stuff however you slice it.

  4. Hello Spydertrader et al,

I have recently started reading about the Hershey methods, and they look very good. More importantly is that the style of trading fits comfortably with my approaches.

I am in the process of reading the prior journal and links before I ask some dumb questions. It certainly is huge. To print this baby out is 1400 odd pages!! You may not hear from me again for a few weeks... :)

I'm up to about page 40, and after a while it sort or grows on you...a bit like a mystery to see how the system unfolds.
Anyhow, its a great piece of work - its not often you get to see this type of insight into another persons (people - there are alot of contributors here!) trading behavior.

Thanks in advance to all who spent the time contributing to a great forum.

    Cheers,

    Cipher

yea... from a technical perspectvie BNT looks like a coiled spring... however, fundamentals do play some role... BNT could trade in DU for weeks, nobody knows.....

However, if they even do so much as fart some good news... we could be in for a ride :)

And the beauty of it is, all we have to do is wait for LowBand Volume to hit before 10:30-11am with MACD positive, Stochastics 80+ on an upward move, and we are likely making money :) Heck, I may not even know about the news until after I am in the trade, lol

  7. I joined about a month ago but it appears to be inactive.

I think you're in "Hershey Central" right here at ET.

  9. When previously asked for assistance, you responded,

"I'm already helping enough behind the scenes"

    and

    "I cannot provide details"

Yet, you now seem to expect the assistance of those that (unlike yourself) freely shares their ideas and input.

    Ironic, Dont'cha Think?
