Spread on eToro - how big it can get ?

how big of the spread can it be ?

I placed a limit order of $20.5, $21 and then $22, for 5 shares
(warming up with real $).

Still - can't get filled.



I had similar situations on the stocks, that had a daily vol of +1M.

Is it because of,

it being a bucket shop
(they are, e.g when you choose to close position, sell/cover, theres no option for market or limit order.
Only - ,,Close" ... ... ... ,, . ... . .. .? ....)

or

the lack of vol/liquidity ?


Whats your expierence in other platforms like IB, with little orders like that ?
(few shares and limit o)

Don't know about eToro, but currently I see it at IB @ $19.33 ask, so you wouldn't pay more than $19.33:

My orders there, wouldn't get filled for hours

So much of no commissions...
