It's a month old news, yet maybe some missed.
    (search doesn't show such title)

Spot didn't played around, didn't say that we will take the number 10'th or number 5'th. They took the number one podcaster.

Suddenly, the eyes got revealed, for other podcasters too -
maybe i am worth more as well ?

I like this man, learned a lot & it's his words in the beginning, (but when insurance person, gives a talk on stock prices, not that he was wrong, but... (laughs)),
    - great insights :

  2. He is treading very lightly so that he doesn't offend the left and jeopardize his Spotify deal.

Lost interest in his podcasts some time ago. He's doing too much talking (greed) and not enough educating himself on the topics. In the end it's just him repeating himself in every interview.

i've seen ten or twenty where joe's run some most excellent interviews over the years. he's got some gonzo in his approach.

expects no narrative gatekeepers at the new platform. Will be interesting if he can pull it off.

"""Gatekeeping is ultimately about maintaining the quality of the content whereas censorship is the removal of discussions about disagreeable topics.[3]"""

that pretty much = theory vs practice. one man's trash is another man's treasure.

Gatekeeping is the process through which information is filtered for dissemination, whether for publication, broadcasting, the Internet, or some other mode of communication. The academic theory of gatekeeping is founded in multiple fields of study, including communication studies, journalism, political science, and sociology.[1] It was originally focused on the mass media with its few-to-many dynamic but now gatekeeping theory also addresses face-to-face communication and the many-to-many dynamic inherent in the Internet. The theory was first instituted by social psychologist Kurt Lewin in 1943.[2] Gatekeeping occurs at all levels of the media structure—from a reporter deciding which sources are chosen to include in a story to editors deciding which stories are printed or covered, and includes media outlet owners and even advertisers. Gatekeeping is not censorship.

This looks a bit bad on Rogan, laughing out loud, as on of his friends describes some weinstein like behaviour.

First I thought the other guy was just joking but after watching the video i dont think he was, he goes into too much detail.

That was from 2011, but i know Rogan has had that guy back on his show quite recently, within the last year.

I have followed many interviews of Joe Rogan and I think he is really efficient and talented in his work. Although sometimes he seems to be quite aggressive with his strategies but when he has such amazing knowledge about the market, I guess it is fine to take some risks. His podcasts are actually interesting to listen to.

    Pardon, which market ?

I try to separate myself from the news usually , but yes. One of those WTF stories. When a low IQ police officer, with potential mental disorders, is ,,just doing his job''.
