SLV buying opportunity?

Great long term uptrend$-like 'em[silver, gold....]

Frankly gold,GLD is a much better uptrend, most time frames;
but SLV,silver still looks mostly real bearish. except for the long term uptrend.

Careful with overnight gaps on SLV, check out 5/2/11, the gap doesn't always fill. Looks like SLV wants to head higher for now.

It [silver, SLV ], does look bearish on [downsloping]50 day moving average,
weaker buy volume.Gold ,GLD looks like a better uptrend.

Actually tried to buy some some silver today, but the silver dealer was so bullish we never could agree on a price, so that is also bearish short term. Long term trend looks fine for silver uptrend.

 

i am pretty short SLV, long GLD/SIL...just because SLV has been outperforming GLD & SIL by a far margin, hoping the performance will converge soon. got burned today though.
