I am short one ES put spread as follows.

    Short Jul01 2070 Put
    Long Jul01 2055 Put

    Sold at 6.50

Not worried if expires at loss as already made just over $600 on the trade by closing long trade legs separately - I had forgotten to cancel a sell limit order on my mobile phone for the long trade and got filled at 3am few days ago for the short trade:rolleyes:

Thinking of rolling it out on next market dip - any suggestions from those who trade ES options?

    Thx.

Before anyone says it, yes, the P&L is wrong, as IB's mobile app is a load of crap!

Yeah, even with a desktop, the P/L is often messed up. Account balance during RTH is often a good indicator of P/L, but with recent wider spreads, option valuations may be messed up.

For me, I like to know my position and often can approximate P/L in my head. Still, it ain't over 'til it's over.
Yeah, that kind of stuff happens. Just keep in mind, it was still a mistake - even though it went your way.

Ok. can forget it now - closed the short 2070 leg at close, leaves me with max downside of bout $338 - seen as I made over$600 on original trade I am leaving the long 2055 leg open in case we get a move back down - u never know:)

Just shows - if selling puts, always buy protection to limit your losses!
