Shock waves sent through the Dem party

  1. In what should have been a shoe in, Comrade McAuliffe nearly lost. He had been leading by large numbers until recently. What happened recenty? Obama and crew have been exposed as pathological liars. Americans now know this indisputable fact. Obama Care? It was never about you getting insured, it was about him buying your vote to get re-elected.
They'll put on the happy face today, but they know 2014 is going to be a mess. Each and every month when millions of Americans write that check for Health Insurance they will be reminded of the lie they were told. Real money coming out of their pockets every month. Big money. Money that they don't have. Money that will have to be taken from other sources. Their only solution. A veto proof majority in the House and Senate. The ACA gets scrapped in Jan 2015. Very possible, unless the GOP starts talking about rape victims and abortion. Don't blow this repubs. It's your chance to actually save the country. Yes, it's that big. Why? What happens to the economy when all that disposable income goes towards insurance? A complete, total, and swift collapse.

RICHMOND, Virginia (Reuters) - Democratic Party insider Terry McAuliffe won the Virginia governor's race on Tuesday by narrowly beating Republican Ken Cuccinelli, a Tea Party favorite who seized on the rocky launch of the U.S. healthcare program to try to keep the contest close.

State election board results showed McAuliffe, a Democratic fundraiser and close friend of former President Bill Clinton, had 48 percent of the vote to 45 percent for Cuccinelli, Virginia's attorney general, with almost all precincts reporting.

McAuliffe squeaked to a win in the Southern state with a strong showing from wealthy, liberal-leaning Washington suburbs.

The Dems should be sending a big "Thank You" to that Obama bundler.

  4. Jan. 2014 marks the begining of the end for the Dem party. Five hundred, six hundred, seven hundred dollars at a time, millions of people will be financially hammered, month after month. A contineous and constant reminder of the big lie. The uneducated will get educated. Got that low premium? Goodie for you. Where the cash gonna' come from for the deductible? Result. You really don't have any insurance. Your messiah scammed you. Retail sales down. Auto sales down. Home sales down. All discretionary money evaporates. Why? The big lie. The solution. Send the radical leftist Dems packing.

Interest in Obamacare rises despite website problems: Reuters/Ipsos poll
    By Lewis Krauskopf
    Wed Nov 6, 2013 4:24am EST

"(Reuters) - Uninsured Americans are showing more interest in the coverage offered under President Barack Obama's healthcare law despite technical problems that have hindered enrollment through a government website, according to a Reuters/Ipsos poll.

"The glitches have crippled HealthCare.gov, the new online insurance marketplace meant to serve people in 36 states, frustrating millions of would-be applicants since it opened for enrollment on October 1.

"The poll's findings are good news for Obamacare supporters who worry the problems and bad press could dissuade people from signing up, particularly the young and healthy who are crucial to diversifying the pool of insured and keeping premiums down.

"The uninsured view the 2010 Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, commonly known as Obamacare, more favorably since online marketplaces opened - 44 percent compared with 37 percent in September, according to the Reuters/Ipsos poll. It found that 56 percent oppose the program compared with 63 percent in September."

Conventional wisdom says this has very little chance of passing. But that hasn’t stopped a handful of northern Colorado counties from pushing for secession from the rest of Colorado in order to form a brand new state aptly named North Colorado.

    From the Hill:

Residents of 11 Colorado counties will vote Tuesday on whether to secede and form the nation’s 51st state.

Proponents of the ballot measure say it is needed to give them a political voice. They say the state government, which is under control of Democrats, is ignoring the concerns of rural voters when passing new gun controls and energy mandates.

The ballot measure would only be a first step to secession. If passed, it would only allow counties to “pursue those [other] counties [in] becoming the 51st state.” The state legislature and Congress would also have to approve...

There are those who are calling those who want to secede “extremists” while others are ignoring the movement altogether. But truly, there’s nothing “extreme” about it. People should be able to govern themselves and when they feel that their government is no longer representing them but actually working against them, it’s reasonable to peacefully part ways. The Declaration of Independence is pretty clear on this…

That being said, this particular movement is unlikely to pass. However, the more a centralized government passes sweeping unjust laws, the more you will hear talk of separation. This isn’t “extremism”, it’s natural.

  9. Don't be so sure. Obama voters are not really affected by any of this or in some cases, they benefit.

Most of them aren't paying higher insurance premiums. They are getting subsidies, courtesy of us hard-working folks. Or they work for governments or are union members, or both, with lavish benefits.

A scary number of voters either don't get this at all (Obama is "for the little guy" and big insurance companies are evil) or they are women who can't get past the big lies about republicans wanting to deny them birth control.

It doesn't help that the republican party is totally dysfunctional.

  10. True they're paying little or nothing in premiums, but far as I know they're still stuck with the deductibles which are sky high in most cases. I don't know where a person that qualifies for the free premuims comes up with 5K for a deductible. We both know that Comrade Obama will try and blame the high decutible on the insurance company, but that doesn't change the fact that someone has to pay it. Paying it means no money for other things. The pain will broaden and get worse across the board for the entire population.
At some point, white America, yeah I said it, white America, is going to wake the hell up and when they do it's over for the Dem party. Every f'n minority in this country can vote dem and they're still done if all those WHITE people that stay home on election day come out and vote. THAT is the target for repubs to zoom in on. Not the dipshits in their base.
