Josh Sanchez-Maldonado, a 24-year-old San Francisco resident, has been reported missing London.

A 24-year-old San Francisco man on his first solo foreign trip has gone missing in London after arriving in the city for a job interview, authorities said Thursday.

Josh Sanchez-Maldonado, a financial trader in San Francisco, arrived in England on a flight from Japan on October 21 for a job interview, according to a statement released by the London Metropolitan Police.

His family, who has not heard from him since October 21, traveled to London to help search for him and plead for information. Sanchez-Maldonado had been speaking with his father everyday since he began his travels, authorities said.

"Josh is a lovable person and we have left our world back home to be here for him,” his family said in a statement. “He is very goal oriented, very organized, detailed, kind, lovable and a respectful person. He has always kept in close communication to us. He is outspoken and very expressive.”

Sanchez-Maldonado had been due to fly back to San Francisco on Oct. 22 from London’s Heathrow Airport, but he did not make the flight, according to authorities.

Sanchez-Maldonado was last seen leaving his hotel in west London on last Thursday and is believed to not have any money or access to it. Authorities said that the details of his job interview are unknown.

"The whole family is highly concerned for his well being,” the family’s statement reads. “We really wish he contacts us as soon as possible.”

That's good he didn't have any money. It rules out a few possibilities. Like being stuck in a crackhouse with some ho's. Hope he's OK. On the other hand no one is gonna miss a trader
