Exactly and one word: MISDIRECTION. Filomena was quite a schemer. Hiring Billy was just a perfect misdirection to throw off those dumb police. Most likely Filomena hired somebody to hide in the bottom of the pool, lured Seth into the pool after he had been drinking, left to go to the bathroom, and bamm....that was it for Seth. She waited 1/2 hour until the killer got away, and then called police with that great performance. She gives great phone as well.
