  2. I don't think this is the same warehouse fire from the other day. You know, the one that was allegedly a fireworks/optics factory. Not sure. I think it is a new and different one.

EDIT: Another link says the warehouse fire was only four miles from Vlad's place. Let's show some compassion for Vlad, that must be scary.

the easiest and the cheapest defense is put fishing nets or wires barracks 20 yards out around the bridge pillars to lessen the bomb impacts.

I get the feeling that one day we will get a headline like we did with Afghanistan
*The Taliban have taken over the country, US govt is shocked and surprised
*Putin takes Kyiv, US govt has no comment

The feeling will pass, then reality of Russian failure will return soon after.

It's the only thing Russia does well - failure.

How will the Russians lose....They have plenty of people to fight and they will slaughter them if needed
Will they run out of weapons. They still have massive amount of weapons

    Good AP story

Russia’s improved weaponry and tactics pose challenges to Ukraine’s counteroffensive
While the Russian air force has operated in relatively small numbers, it has modernized its stock of bombs to turn them into gliding weapons that have proven efficient, he said. The 500-kilogram (1,100-pound) bombs adapted with a GPS module can inflict massive damage.

“The Soviet Union produced those bombs in uncountable numbers,” Zhdanov said, adding that the Russians drop up to 50 a day for a “major psychological effect.”

The easiest way to avoid the Russian barriers is to wait till a fully loaded tanker passes under the bridge and the use waterdrones to explode it.
The traject that the tanker needs to pass under the bridge cannot be protected with barriers. The explosing tanker will do the job.
There is no"waterproof" solution to protect this bridge.
