Cue the “boner” jokes: Speaker of the House John Boehner (R-OH) may have cheated with two young women, according to an alleged New York Times investigation reported by The National Enquirer. Gossips in D.C. are apparently abuzz with the news that Boehner boned Lisbeth Lyons, a lobbyist, and Leigh LaMora, a former press secretary to Colorado ex-Congressman Joel Hefley, the Enquirer reports. And the Enquirer was right about John Edwards, after all! The Speaker of the House and his wife, Deborah, have been married for 37 years and when she was contacted in late January by the Enquirer about the cheating allegations, she reportedly kept mum.
