Ripple is on a tear...It just passed $10 Billion market cap versus Bitcoin $28 Billion. It just blew by Ether (market cap $8.4 Billion) Can Ripple pass Bitcoin?
Isn't the supply of ripple inflationary unlike bitcoin which is deflationary e.g limited to 21million tokens?
Apparently, Ripple (XRP) is deflationary. Each transaction burns a fraction of a coin so total supply slows down, similar to Bitcoin which slows down supply by making it harder to mine. A good post here explaining the profile and application of XRP. https://forum.ripple.com/viewtopic.php?p=44938#p44938
