First time I saw him in a film as a DI, I thought, "Damn... he plays that part so well, he comes off as real (if you were in the military, you'd know)". Of course... he was the real deal.
Couldn't agree more. Every film I ever saw him in (even some of the slapstick comedies), he stole the scenes. The guy was a natural if ever I saw one.
