This is good news for selfish reasons. There is a remembrance thing for Phil (Seymour) Hoffman coming up and there was talk of many not going due to finances, hopefully coffers will be filled soon.

Well done Joe, you probably had nothing to do with it but it you were Trump you would have negotiated it for both sides and been a hero while also doing nothing.

Delaware is the state full of tax haven banks. Of course he served their interests little and large. Politics?

I actually have an anthology book with the story.

Rail workers should join auto workers on the picket line the day Biden arrives.

A new Washington Post-ABC poll showing Joe Biden trailing his presidential predecessor Donald Trump by 10 percentage points was excoriated by the leading political pollster Larry Sabato.

Noting that the pollsters themselves cautioned that their survey was an outlier, Sabato – the director of the Center for Politics at the University of Virginia – called the decision to release it “ridiculous”.

“Ignore the Washington Post–ABC poll,” Sabato wrote on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter. “How could you even publish a poll so absurd on its face? Will be a lingering embarrassment for you.” He added: “Just plain embarrassing – for them.”

    .....
The Washington Post acknowledged its survey was not in line with most polling, which generally finds that the Democratic incumbent Biden and the former Republican president Trump would be in a close, competitive race if they faced each other in the 2024 election.

The Post wrote in its analysis: “The … poll shows Biden trailing Trump by 10 percentage points at this early stage in the election cycle, although the sizable margin of Trump’s lead in this survey is significantly at odds with other public polls that show the general election contest a virtual dead heat.

“The difference between this poll and others, as well as the unusual makeup of Trump’s and Biden’s coalitions in this survey, suggests it is probably an outlier.”

They were publishing polls with Biden and Clinton ahead over 10 points, they should publish them all to be included in the aggregate.September aggregate polling a year before the election has predicted the popular vote winner in every presidential election since 2008,if it aint broke don't fix it.

In Sept 2007 Obama was ahead of Mccain,in Sept 2011 Obama was ahead of Romney,in Sept 2015 Hillary was ahead of Trump and in Sept 2019 Biden was ahead of Trump.

In Sept of this year Trump is ahead of Biden :D. In RCPs 8 most recent polls against Trump Biden has not had the lead in any of them:cool:.

Only 2 presidents had double digit negative net approval in Sept before the election,Trump and Carter...and now Biden:)

No censorship for polls, show them all, even the outliers. Many times outliers become the norm.
