  1. So, the pundits and media are all locked in Amy Cony Barrett.

Man, this is going to be brutal. A total, total, total nightmare for the lefties. A complete "refudiation" of Comrade Ginsburg's legacy.

    Let the blood flow.

    REMEMBER KAVANAUGH.

Lagoa could be good too. I am a flexible kind of guy. So much talent to choose from unlike that dem primary clown show.

How much time did Ruthie spend thinking about or honoring my wishes? Not much.

  2. Ms. Ginsburg died on Friday. She lay in repose today, 5 days later. Aren't Jews supposed to be buried within 24 hours of death? Asking for a friend.

  3. If they take over the government, they will take over your life. Slowly but surely. That's how theocracies work.

But didn't the US government come from those roots? I mean, they original had government control. Maybe not evangelical, but certainly Christian.

  5. I don't think so. Remember separation of church and state? The state should allow religious freedom. Shouldn't that mean it ought to work the other way as well? That the church shouldn't meddle in the affairs of state? God started figuring more prominently later, which was actually a step away from what I believe the founding fathers had intended.

    Exactly. That's kinda my point.

you believe the separation of Church and State is at risk, though. That's what you're saying, I think. If I'm mistaken, I apologize. I'm just trying to see where you believe that is happening - like what evidence of things happening is making you think that is inevitable without a course correction.

  7. Abortion rights? Because the deeply religious believe that a person forms at conception. Remember gay rights? What kept that from being established sooner? Remember witches burned at the stake? Heretics? The list goes on.

And, more recently, what about the local politicians who wanted their courts to display the ten commandments? Where does it end? When does it end?

There is no end. Medical research, child safety laws, marriage, workplace conditions, on and on. It wasn’t too long ago North Carolina tried to declare an official state religion. It’s going to get as out of control as guns.

The more power the bible thumpers get, the farther back they'll go in history to try to reverse progress. Gambling, alcohol, porn, gay rights, divorce, women voting, etc. If that sounds nuts, consider that bible thumping leaders, the ones who have been working for decades to get the courts tilted their way, are still blaming natural disasters on fornication and such, God's wrath.
