Can someone recommend a good RAID 5 NAS?

This is perfect, except it is more than twice what I want to pay:

I don't need anywhere near 1TB, 200 GB is plenty. Thing is, I don't see anyone that makes an ethernet RAID 5 enclosure with small disks?

  2. I have the Infrant NAS and am pretty happy with it.

If you have an old P3 pc laying around the house you can slap in a few cheap hard drives and use freenas.org. Almost all of the nas boxes on the market are linux based anyway.

Thats what I did anyway and only cost me a few bucks for the extra drives. Linux will do the raid 5 in software which is what linux does anyway.

Thanks for the suggestion. Looks like a good product, but a bit pricey...
