Not hard to believe at all! Media is all about breaking the story first. It's the old "town crier" of Rome. Verification is no longer necessary. Journalism is dead. It's just who can spread the latest rumor the fastest.

 

The one who's stupid was the anchor who read it out without realizing anything.

 

In the apology video she says the names were confirmed by an official with the NTSB.
