Prop firm with training

Discussion in 'Prop Firms' started by Sniemiec, Oct 11, 2014.

  1. Hi all,

Appreciate your input and help with this decision. I am looking into a prop firm that also has training, SMB Capital and the like. I understand that it can be expensive, but I highly value one-on-one classtime and hands on learning environments. Online learning is not my first choice.

Apart from SMB, who else can you reccomend? Would you even reccomend this style of training and trading? I'm open to other avenues as well of course. I have traded previously and have completed an undergrad in finance, but have never on a full-time basis.

    Thanks for your help,

There are some real regulatory issues with trading funds not being properly segregated from trading fees at equity prop firms that have fee-based trading.

May I recommend a Chicago based futures prop firm like DRW or Ronin that has internal training programs ? There are also several more - some with NYC offices.

Good luck with things and very best !
