I am curious to find out what is the average profile of a trader on this website. I suspect that most people here are: 1. Male 2. Impatient by nature 3. Risk takers of course 4. Quick to judge 5. Haven't "made it yet" 6. Single I am assuming #5 is correct as a millionaire trader who is successfull would not spend time on this forum. It is probably populated by people who hope to learn something. Helping each other in a zero sum game is less likely so I am assuming people are more here to "take" something instead of "give" something. "Quick to judge" is the assessment I got from the negative responses to my previous posts. All of this is guess of course. I am also curious to know which group is larger: 20 yo who want to turn $2000 into millions or 40 yo who are managing their IRA. Would there be interest to create a short survey?
Not true at all. Plenty of self-made millionaires read here and other forums. One of the top 30, by volume, intraday ES traders actively posted, until he recently got fed up with the clowns and stopped.
You may want to add: Dogmatic, hyper-critical, condensing, pompous, & ego maniacs with an inferiority complex.
Make virgin as an option. and living at home with parents. Which will make my new book...Make Trading and Your Life Great Again...even that much more interesting and successful. It's 2018...High-Five,`
I think there are 2 groups here. One group are really traders who are posting here while they are monitoring their positions or waiting for their next signal and at the same time hoping to learn something new. Trading is something that you can never learn enough of. Another group are just trolls.
Market is a beast. 1. Each time is unique. 2. Anything can happen. 3. Sometimes luck can help. 4. Wins and losses are random at best. Because we can't tell which bet is a winner. 5. Edge is very illusive. Casinos definitely have an edge over gamblers.
