Professor Black (The Man) Video: 'Too Big To Fail' Doctrine To Ensure U.S.'s Fall

Discussion in 'Wall St. News' started by ByLoSellHi, Nov 3, 2009.

  1. For large financial firms, money is for nothing, and the chicks (and coke) are free.

They are borrowing money for near 0% and engaging in the highest risks they ever have...even outdoing their egregious bets of 2007.

Heads, they win, and get to keep the profits and pay massive bonuses....

....Tails, they lose, and shove the bill up the U.S. taxpayers' asses.

Last taxpayer willing to subsidize this bullshit, please turn the lights off when you leave.

This is an epic interview with Professor Black (yes, the Professor Black. This video should be shown to all econ classes in this country.

  2. Absolutely stellar post, BLSH.

The riots and pitchforks are just one more bloated, failed, ego-conglomerate, money-cesspool bank failure away ...

  3. Burn the f**kers to the ground.

Sometimes populist anger is warranted, like now.

  4. And the Obama Admin. knows exactly on which side their bread gets buttered, so don't look for meaningful regulation.
Billions of our tax dollars have been put on Red, and the Roulette Wheel is about to spin.

  5. uh, don't you mean, that was the hot potato economy that was handed to him (Obama) from the previous crooks?

that's the way so many see it....

so many can't figure why people keep trying to blame the new guy....

reality is, it doesn't and did not matter who won, whomever it was, or would have been, would have been handed the same hot potato, or should we be more souther correct and say potato-e, with an "e"?

    ughhhh.....

  6. Seems you're saying Obama's Admin. isn't smart enough to figure out how to get us out of this mess.
However, the true point is this.
A financial "cabal" owns us. The "Left/Right" fight is just a sideshow to distract us from the true issues.

  7. +1

We've "evolved" from the concept of the military coup to one of a financial takeover, but the end results are just the same.

  8. +2

actually I was mocking the notion that the Obama administration was not smart enough, they are an order of magnitude smarter than the previous that managed to apply supply side economics to the extreme which produced this collapse we're all dealing with. simply put it was a run away that even their TARP could not put the brakes on.

whether or not Obama administration is or will be, is yet to be seen,

however, the notion of some cabal, well that's not to far off from the reality,,,,

whatever it is, we're all bit players, and did you see the thread where Santelli was ripping Leisman on CNBC, regarding the devaluation of the US Dollar?

the essence was, in his words, we are all players because we're dollar holders...

guess we're all hoping somebody gets it right and far better than those others in the prior 8 yrs

What I don't get was why Lies-man was literally arguing that the "common man" has nothing to do with "holding dollars".
WTF else are we holding? WFT is HE holding, Yuan, Gold Bars?
I think that's why Santelli was so frustrated trying to talk to this Steve guy. I saw it in real time.
There's a vast disconnect tween reality and some men.
