Praying on the streets of Paris outlawed

Funny that they have a law seperating church and state, but then using the state to tell people where they can pray.

 

Matthew 6
6“Beware of practicing your piety before others in order to be seen by them; for then you have no reward from your Father in heaven. 2“So whenever you give alms, do not sound a trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, so that they may be praised by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward. 3But when you give alms, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, 4so that your alms may be done in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you.
5“And whenever you pray, do not be like the hypocrites; for they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and at the street corners, so that they may be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward. 6But whenever you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you. 7“When you are praying, do not heap up empty phrases as the Gentiles do; for they think that they will be heard because of their many words.

 

Are they mostly targeting the Muslims or religion in general I wonder.

 

Do you see a similiarity between those verses and what is happening in Paris? This is what I see.

Matthew 6 = no reward(or already recieved reward) for praying in the streets

Paris = Ass kicked and thrown in jail for praying in the streets

See the difference? But I guess if you understood biblical doctrine, you wouldnt be an atheist now, would you?

So, it's the Muslims who are causing the problem by praying on the street. I don't think that making this law is the right thing to do but I don't know much about the French Constitution.

 

Why dont they just make it illegal to be a muslim. I mean...they are already have one foot over the line, might as well just step the other foot over now.
