How many trades do you average a day?

I would like to get quite a few and I'll repost the results. I think it will be interesting to see where we all are in comparison.

  2. 8-9 here, although several of them would be my original in and fading it- so if you asked how many positions i would have said 4-5

  3. i ROUND TURNED CISCO 100 TIMES IN ONE DAY BUT DON'T THINK I'LL EVER HAVE A STRATEGY LIKE THAT AGAIN. ALMOST THE HOLY GRAIL.

More like 4-5, but I only actively trade for ~3 hours a day.

  5. 4-6 trades avg during euro session, and another 4-6 IF I squeeze in U.S. session, by that time I feel like a zombie from lack of sleep but well worth the pippage

A pole is what a girl swings around and you give her a dollar for her efforts.

A poll is a sampling of opinions.

But to answer the question, 100 pips a week trading 6E. Trying to get a certain amount of pips a day is counter productive IMO. It is better to shoot for weekly goals than daily goals. Flattens your equity curve a bit.

And like southbeach, most of my work is done 2am - 12pm.
