China seen surpassing U.S. in superpower shift By Charles Riley @CRrileyCNN July 18, 2013: 6:30 AM ET A new Pew Research Center survey of 38,000 people in 39 countries found the widespread belief that China is well on its way. Overall, a majority or plurality of respondents in only six of the countries surveyed believe the U.S. will remain on top. "Publics around the world believe the global balance of power is shifting," Pew wrote. "China's economic power is on the rise, and many think it will eventually supplant the United States as the world's dominant superpower." Pew isn't the only group interested in the implications of China's growing power. The Middle Kingdom's increasing influence has also attracted plenty of predictions in Washington. The U.S. National Intelligence Council released a report last year that offers a series of prognostications about how the world might change in coming decades. One of its attention-grabbing assertions: China's economy will surpass that of the U.S. by 2030. "China alone will probably have the largest economy, surpassing that of the United States a few years before 2030," the report said. http://money.cnn.com/2013/07/18/news/economy/china-us-superpower/index.html?hpt=hp_t3 Obama will be remembered as the era where USA steadily declined.
Odumbo has been out to DESTROY AMERICA since day one. Just recall all of the HORSESHIT things going on since 2008! He's likely the ULTIMATE ISLAMIC TERRORIST!... and getting away with it. Seems clear to me... why can't others see it? (You know, beyond the blinding greed of the politically motivated and destructive promise of "free ice cream for some at the expense of others".)
Naturally, China would have done everything differently, economically, demographically, politically, had McCain won. They have no internal goals or agenda except what the US government gives them. ; )
It really goes back long before Obama. All our politicians were bought and paid for by those who wanted to do business with the Chinese (and rumor has it that some politicians were bought off with Chinese contributions to American campaigns). Hint: Dual use tech to China really cranked up under Clinton. Look how far we've come now. They practically own us. They have our jobs, they own our debt, they have our tech, and so on. I blame greedy corporations, and greedy politicians from both parties (which is really one big party these days). What the hell, though. We get cheap products!
I can't see this happening. A superpower is defined as a nation that is especially capable of influencing international events and the acts and policies of less powerful nations. They have trouble influencing Tawian. That would basically be like us not able to influence Catalina Island off the coast of CA. They are weak. It will take more than 1 black man to take this country down.
Well... 1. We already have at least 2... Odumbo and Holder 2. If the sheeple fall into line, perhaps 1 is enough. Look at the influence of Hitler. If the German sheep hadn't signed on to his agenda and told him to go pound sand, we likely would not have had WWII.
China can't even invent their own stuff. They have to steal it with all their hacking. I wouldn't count China as a superpower until and unless a lot changes. There are hurtles that China will not be able to overcome in it's current form. Their hope is not from becoming an economic powerhouse so much as becoming a military power house. They can do that with numbers but so far they haven't been able to invent their own superior technology. If they do accomplish that they will have to take on the entire world as their enemy. Even Russia will turn against them if they become too militarily powerful.
