Man’s best friend could become an investment portfolio’s best performer as ProShares is set to debut its ProShares Pet Care ETF (PAWZ) on Tuesday, Nov. 6 — the first ETF of its kind to cater to the pet care industry that boasted sales of $132 billion in 2016. “It’s the first pet care ETF,” Steve Cohen, Managing Director of ProShares, told ETF Trends. “We’re excited about it because we think that while pets are great companions, they are also big business.” https://www.etftrends.com/proshares-grooms-new-etf-for-pet-care-industry/
Hahahahaha I send my little lady to doggy daycare a few times a week too. She loves it. And it’s great for dogs to socialize and play.
I looked up the components to see if Trupanion was on it. Its a stock I've always kinda watched. Pricey, but its a pure-play on pet insurance. (TRUP) I see its on there. Pet insurance is a good deal btw. About $50/month for an older medium sized dog. Pretty scary to think that if they ingest the wrong thing and it gets stuck, its $5K easy. You really gotta keep an eye on em, they don't know any better. And then you got cancer and stuff like that... well worth the money imo. Gotta get a doggy physical for em though if they're old lol... then 15 days wait period. Two thumbs up for these guys: https://www.healthypawspetinsurance.com/dog-and-puppy-insurance They do cats too. But who cares. Maybe Ocho.
Yeah we used to live downtown right by a couple of dog parks but nothing near the new place so gotta be a good dog owner. She used to run with me on the astroturf field at 4am. It was a good life. Perfectly soft, no ankle destroying holes. Hopefully she will enjoy the daycare. Good to know your experience is good
Dog treadmills are great for those who live in big cities and pets get starved for running and exercise. Check out you tube on how to make carpet treadmill if you are little bit handy or know some one who is good at wood works. https://www.indiamart.com/gspaikindustries/dog-treadmill-equipment.html This costs roundly $400 directly from the factory.
