The longer Pelosi holds the articles the more republicans are fighting over the rules. Put the trial on trial before the trial.
Pubs aren’t fighting about the rules. Dems are doing what they can to obstruct and bloviate. And it is hilarious. Let’s hope Mitch shreds their silly ‘impeachment’ if and when it ever gets to him. And fast. It’s a joke and everyone knows it.
Under no circumstances should Mitch enter into negotiations with the House about Senate trial rules. NEVER. That is not part of the process or the constitution AT ALL. Don't even start down the road, don't go near it, don't do anything that even remotely acknowledges that the House has a role there. The dems have dem counterparts in the Senate. If they have angles and agendas they want to work then they can buddy-buddy with the Senate dems and have their influence in that manner. But there is no role for the House other than to send over or not send over the articles. NONE.
