Admitting to that would mean disregarding the numerical facts that people with higher educational achievement lean Democrat. Except maybe among whites

Mitch will tell them when you’re finished with your monkey business, package it up and deliver it to the Senate, we’ll discuss it then, not before.

Tard’s need to remember, what goes around comes around.

  8. Yup. And he should allow a little fairness, if the dems need to get their shiite together. But he should also do what you said but lock it down another level, by saying that they would not accept it after 15 days or something. You know there are lefties thinking they will just leave it where it is and have it hanging over Trump while they avoid having to vote. Nope. Be fair. Give em a couple weeks. Then pull the plug on them and call for Senate vote to dismiss it before it arrives. It might not be legally tidy but what are they going to do about it?

The other thing is that the house really has no jurisdiction to be negotiating rules of procedure with them. That's for the Senate to determine. They can take it up with their Senate dem buddies, that's all. Otherwise, the rules are what the Senate approves. Don't want to take that risk? Don't send it over. As I said, I dont really see what cards they are holding.

The House called all the shots while it was in their hands, the Senate will dispose of it as they see fit.

I hope the vote to dismiss. This shit has gone on way too long.

  10. I believe Vanz point was that like 97% of the population do not even understand how our government works from all parties and walks of life.

Given that on average 50% of eligible voters actually vote and that based on 2016 total votes and population, that is slightly more than 33% of the total population of all people. I dont think it is a stretch to say only about 3% of the total population knows truly how our government works versus those who simply repeat what CNN and FOX tells them.

I have studied U.S. government, served in a government role under both Clinton and Bush (I don't really give a shit who sits in that house) and have 2 post graduate degrees (1 of them related to Constitutional Law) and I am comfortable from my education, experience, and travels, that a high % (cannot nail it down like Vanz did) do not understand the Constitution or how the U.S. government functions.

If you don't believe it, the above can be corroborated simply by reading Facebook posts and comment sections on any article posted by both left and right sources.
