If anything I think he is mostly critiquing multinational corporations that answer to wall street, not local or regional businesses. The fact that one is pro-capitalism does not mean one should somehow be prevented from calling out gross inequities, injustices, and abuses occurring within the system.
Ok fair enough, but to be clear, I don't believe having a high net worth makes one hypocritical. I think it's hypocritical when someone talks contrary to how they live.
