    Not jealous.

I'm 100% in favor of capitalism. I'm involved in the ownership of a business with a significant amount of employees (hundreds) and real estate that is affected by skyrocketing utility costs, partly from Obama's mandated EPA standards.

I know that when guys like this start yapping, it's ME (and you) they are targeting, not themselves.

  3. Ok, then you better be worried about the third worlders and pygmies calling you a hypocrite.

I believe people can say whatever they want, you dont have to listen. Just dont call folks with more assets than you-- hypocritical.

    Peace. Surf

Ps let me further explain. Al gore flies his jet to bangladesh. Holds a seminar among corporate leaders. He convinces several to sign the kyota protocol and stops millions of tons of carbon. Was it worth his while to fly there and beneficial 1000x to his cause despite what u see as hypocritical? These folks u call hypocritical are massive influencers for right or wrong. The influence far out weighs and makes sense to use available tools to propagate. Its far from hypocritical. Open your mind and dont be jealous of the influential class.

I think Jones is 100% in favor of capitalism too. I see no evidence he is "targeting" anyone. If anything I think he is mostly critiquing multinational corporations that answer to wall street, not local or regional businesses. The fact that one is pro-capitalism does not mean one should somehow be prevented from calling out gross inequities, injustices, and abuses occurring within the system.

Ok fair enough, but to be clear, I don't believe having a high net worth makes one hypocritical.

I think it's hypocritical when someone talks contrary to how they live. It's like the sleazy former criminal who professes to have found god, or the so-called "anti-government" Republicans who spend all their time trying to say who can or can't get married.

We are all hypocritical, so I'm not saying he's some great villain or something. I'm just saying he's one of the last people I'm going to listen to about fairness until I see some evidence that he can practice what he preaches.

  6. Exactly. why not pledging billions like a few billionaires indeed do if they are so concerned about unfairness in society and disproportionate opportunity distributions. Giving a few millions while living a grand capitalist and extravagant life style somehow does not connect with their recent postUlations. It's like Mother Theresa driving around the Kalkatta slums in a Ferrari and throwing rice out the window and proclaiming she has a heart for the poor.

  7. He has given very little ...almost an insignificant amount relative to his wealth. His latest mansion extravaganza is probably worth more than his entire giving in total to his foundation. Stay real man

  8. you are just a dumb mouthpiece. Did Mother Theresa or Ghandi or numerous others make a name for themselves before they started their work. PTJ has probably given a thousand fold more in monetary terms than those two above yet he is a shit in comparison. Why do Americans measure everything in life in terms of coin? Outright shortsighted.

  9. So now you want him to live his life on your terms otherwise he's worthless shit? Since you brought this discourse down to anatomical parts, try to guess which one I see you as. :)

  10. Al Gore has it all wrong? Lol you republican marionettes are the biggest joke in tow. EL Nino is on every front page and every commodity desk at hedge funds and investment banks is over thinking their models and how to deal with potentially devastating supply disruptions. The ice caps are literally melting away. Have you witness the environmental pollution China is creating and for that matter fracking in front of your home? Are you truly too stupid to see that ignorance to environmental over think leads to a complete disaster in a few decades? Germany will soon be generating more than half it's national energy needs from green energy while your retarded American Whirlpool fridges and consume almost more than some entire households in Japan or Germany. Goodness.
