The Dalian Commodities Exchange's move to open up its Chinese iron ore contracts to international players on May 4 , 2018 should result in a boost to liquidity across the futures curve with the impact on the physical market less clear cut, sources said.

I plan to trade DCE Iron ore futures.
Have anyone started trading DCE Iron ore futures?
Could you please share your experience?
Which Overseas Intermediary / broker do you use?
Not all brokers offer this financial instrument.
I know IB doesn't offer this instrument.

Any particular thing we need to watch out when we close a position?
I heard someone tried to close a position but ended up creating another opposite position.

Iron Ore Is Heading for Its Worst Week Since 2016

    • There’s no sign of prices bottoming out: Shanghai Cifco
    • Steelmaking material is crashing as demand concerns intensify

Iron ore’s tumultuous week extended into Friday, with the steelmaking material heading for its worst week since 2016 on concerns demand is slowing just as supply picks up.

Futures in Singapore resumed losses to trade below $90 a ton, taking this week’s slump to 14%, the most since November 2016. Iron ore’s getting pummeled by a battery of bearish factors, including slowing demand in China, global trade tensions, and a rebound in supplies following major disruptions in Brazil and Australia during the first half.
