As I listen to interviews from Senators about the health care bill, it seems almost nobody has even SEEN Reid's version (let alone can explain its provisions) and the OMB has not released its scoring for the cost. Yet, 59 Senators are "whole hog" ready to vote for passage. I can hardly believe what I'm seeing. Where are the patriots? Where are the supporters of our Constitution? Where is fiscal responsibility? I guess it's really true... "we the people" don't matter a rat's ass.
Soundbite on Greta suggested Reid will give Nelson what he wants to vote for the bill. Isn't it interesting... the citizens poll in Nebraska shows nearly 3:1 for him NOT to vote for it. Looks like Nelson's career is toast. BTW... I wonder how we'll feel when we learn what's ACTUALLY IN THE BILL WHICH WILL BE CONTROLLING A BIG PART OF OUR LIVES AND FINANCES FOR THE REST OF OUR DAYS?
