Obama speaks out on Zimmerman verdict By CNN Staff updated 2:18 PM EDT, Fri July 19, 2013 (CNN) -- President Barack Obama said Friday that "Trayvon Martin could have been me 35 years ago" in his first live comments since a Florida jury acquitted George Zimmerman last weekend in the teenager's shooting death. http://www.cnn.com/2013/07/19/politics/obama-zimmerman/index.html?hpt=hp_t1 Is Obama trying to incite racial war?
Obama just committed suicide with the white community. I watched the clip on CNN where he goes on about the plight "of the black men" with women clutching purses, being followed at department stores, etc. While it is undoubtedly true, and it did happen in the past, it was not proper decorum to bring it up from the bully pulpit. Obama was not elected to be Sharpton/Jackson-in-Chief. White people gave him everything he has now or ever for that matter. His white mother gave him birth, his grandparents raised him, Columbia/Harvard education, teaching at UChicago, his keynote address at 2004 Democratic National Convention, his senate seat and his presidency. Regardless of what he thinks about the plight of an average black man, this country has been exceedingly good to him and for him. Maybe Rush Limbaugh was right, maybe Obama was holding all this resentment all this time and hiding it, but no more.
WOW! Rarely do we ever hear a president make such an inappropriate statement. A total lack of leadership. He's actually taking sides, completely dismissing the facts surrounding the case, and feeding Race Baiting Inc. Can a nation become any further divided and survive?
Obongo has gone insane. After his stupid "Trayvon could have been my son" remark, he rachets it up to "Trayvon could have been me"
We know he smoked marijuana. So he's admitting he robbed people, and if someone were following him, he woulda ambushed him and given him a whoop-ass, even though the other guy has done nothing illegal?
He plagiarized those sentences from his wife ... Oh wait, technically he & his wife are one person, so plagiarism is not applicable.
What exactly is Obama driving it? It's racist for any non-black person to suspect a black person of wrong doing? Why isn't Obama talking about black on black homicide? When white on black homicide is but a fraction of fraction of it?
