We're not going to war with Iran over this, and they know it. We can bluster all we want, but if we allowed Pakistan and N. Korea to have nukes, are we really going to make Iran the test case? The thing is, the islamist regime is very unpopular inside Iran and there is a good chance they could be tossed out in the years ahead. If we attack them however, the country would rally and unite behind them, at least that's what my iranian friends tell me. Instead of making empty threats, we should have been supplying weapons and money to insurgents inside Iran.

Let's assume for a moment that Iran's president is being completely honest. How would an attempt at normalizing relations with us look? It would look just like what he's just done. So I'm glad you're surprised just a bit more than suspicious. (Suspicion is warranted.) As for posting from Fox, I look constantly for that opportunity--I figure the righties here are more likely to read it. : )
