    Hi there,

I am trying to buy 1,000 shares of a bond ETF
AGGH ISHARES GLB AGG EUR-H ACC

when I click on the ETF to buy it it says "Frozen data". The same goes for the other bond ETFs such as the one by Vanguard. Why is that?

Is it that I don't know something fundamental about how these orders are made? When I wanted to buy securities ETFs I would get data live (albeit with a delay).

    Help?

    Theo

You didn't say who's your broker?

If it is not listed in the UK exchanges and you did not get your broker's clearance to trade US listed ETF or equities (Vanguard is US based), you might not be able to buy.

When in doubt, call your broker's help desk.

Answering my own question. I wanted to buy an ETF (on IB) that is listed on IBIS which is a German market for ETFs and today, 1st of June is a bank holiday in Germany, thus prices are frozen.

    Thanks for the help.
