  2. the people I know and trust tell me, eventually it will work, and become just another thing like social security and medicare

people will like it, even love it, but it will be just one more noose around the neck of the American economy

I'm about over this "Chicken Little" the sky is falling crap

but you are correct, even the left wing liberals are having pause for concern

    pendulum swings

we are going back to the center

8 years of Hillary, and when the media gets tired of trying to decide what to call Bill, we could be back to Leave it to Beaver, only just a little bit poorer

And again we have someone who is happy at how great Odumbocare is.

Despite the problems, Mr. Donahue, 58, a retired software engineer, is delighted with his new coverage from Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas. The monthly premium for him and his wife is $1,062, but the federal government pays a subsidy of $903. The couple pay the remainder, $159 a month.

“It’s a superb deal,” Mr. Donahue said.

So this guy and his wife will get almost $11,000 of their premiums paid by the rest of us this year. The guy is 58. So I'm guessing until he's eligible for Medicare at age 65 we taxpayers will pay that $11,000 x 7 years in the interim. And that money, that approaches $80,000 isn't taking into account that premiums will rise. So I'll bet that he'll get close to $100,000 of premiums paid until he's 65.

Multiply those kind of numbers by millions and millions of people. But people who are getting these kind of handouts will happily support whatever Democrat runs for President in the future. And there's no penalty if they just so happen to not really care about how (un)healthy they are since their premiums will be the same as anyone else the same age.

  4. I guess what bothers me most, is when the good old USA starts looking more and more like the Soviet Union. People standing in lines, filing out endless paperwork, everything in the hands of some bureaucrat, nobody directly accountable for anything, need a government connection to get ahead.

And yes, our tyrant president is a very bad man, but also very smart. He KNOWS this ruse is simply a way to CHANGE America forever. These parasites will pull the lever for democommunists no matter who they are so they can continue to get this free stuff on our backs.
The libtards new argument for keeping onazicare, no matter how evil, is "well, if we get rid of it now, the few million who've got the new insurance will be harmed." Yes, that's right. The libs are willing to harm over 300,000,000 Americans so a few million can have the insurance. I put a new leather heavy bag in my garage. I think I'll go use it now.

  7. thanks for that. Most of your posts are depressing "there is no hope" crap

but that one is actually quite inspiring

kind of gives you the feeling of what it must have been like being European and moving to the wild west of America

Only now, America is old and stodgy, and China is a land of opportunity

they ought to have two secret passes on the Mexican border

one for those trying to sneak into America, and one for those that want to sneak into China

Dude could be making some good bank (he is a software engineer). But instead of working until 65, he retires early, reduces his income and pretty much gets his healthcare paid for.
