how long do you thnk it will take until all the liquidity moves over.....with ICE already being cheaper than cme, loads of volume has already moved over to the ICE WTI financial contract.... there s enough volume where i can execute some of my swing trades on ICE WTI instead of CL.... the exchanges need to be investigated for increasing fees when automation is supposed to make it cheaper...
I don't think it will. MM that are members pay reduced fees and go to where the volume is. I expect they will make markets on other exchanges looking for a quick arb. I know you like lower fees, but I expect that when prints trade on other exchanges when there are many and you don't get to participate, you will not be as happy with lower fees.
sure, liquidity needs to be there in order to realize the benefits of lower rates...at the moment, i am only hoping and praying....but as i said, ice wti has done very well in the past year....relatively speaking
