This must have the liberals of america deeply saddened today.

Ukraine is on the brink of civil war.

Fearing that their country could one day align closer with Vladimir Putin’s Russia and not with the European Union, Ukrainians have taken to the streets in protest.

The state tried to outlaw public demonstrations, but the people refused to obey.

The Ukrainian people flooded the country’s capital, Kiev, in numbers too great for government forces to repel. Deadly clashes between protesters and government forces soon followed.

Fighting in Kiev has claimed dozens of lives and injured hundreds more. The unrest continues.

The West looks on, trying to make sense of the situation, as inspiring and terrifying images of the events in the shaken country continue to find their way online.

The following video, which was uploaded Friday to YouTube, shows Ukrainians banding together to tear down statues of Russia’s Vladimir Lenin:

And as a point of reference, the following chart claims to identify 16 spots where Ukrainian demonstrators destroyed monuments to Lenin — and all in one day:

  2. Good post.

We, the USA, need to arm the Ukrainian freedom fighters with weapons which will give them a fighting chance against the evil Russian-backed terrorist government.

If it comes down to the wire, we need to send in the F16s and 'take out' all Ukrainian military installations. We should also station our nuclear-armed submarines in international waters, ready to launch military strikes against both Russia and Ukraine.

Ukraine is not part of Russia and, had I not been such a successful daytrader, I would have been on the streets of Kiev. Instead, I will be sending a day's worth of my profits (a large amount, by ANY standards) to the CIA, which should be able to buy a few guns for the freedom fighters.

  3. This is an important thread. I urge all American patriots to donate 1 day winnings to the USA to fund the Ukrainian opposition against Putin's boys. Chinamen like Tsing Tao are funding the Ruskies (probably not by much, since I am not even sure if he is a winning trader), and we need to counterbalance that.

You forgot to say "God bless USA and our greatest ally Israel"

  5. Putin is a loser , he cannot even keep the peace during the Olympic Games. .

  6. The CIA should send the drones in to get Putin. Putin is a dictator, has committed crimes against humanity and supports Al-Quaeda. The only good thing about Putin is that he says he does not like gay sex.

But I think Putin is trying to hide his gayness from the world:

Isn't it absolutely mind-bending to know that today's liberal American actually looks up to a dictator, and is saddened by freedom? Words just can't describe the transformation of yesteryear's liberal who despised big government and demanded freedom vs what we have today...

You don't realize what Ukraine means to Russia. Russia was born from Kiev. What we need to do is embrace Russian fears (losing 26 million in WW II weighs on a nation), and convince them that we have no plan to encircle them with western leaning nations. Russia is not the Soviet Union. I think maybe you need to visit Russia. See for yourself. Start with St. Petersburg (a modern metropolis, that lost over 1 million over two years in WW II, and still one of the world's most beautiful cities).

  9. No way am I visiting those Russians, dude!

The only time I will visit them is after liberating them from Putin and putting in a US-loving President of Russia. They hate our guts, so the Cold War lives on. This time, we will defeat the Al-Quaeda loving Russians.

Russia must learn to obey the USA. Until they are liberated of Putin and obey our orders, we will continue to bring them and their Ukrainian servants to their knees. Countries who don't obey us are Al-Quaeda lovers and will be demolished.

The only reason we allowed Obama in is because he is obedient it looks good to have someone who said he looks like Treyvon's dad as a President. But Putin is evil and doesn't obey American orders.

Putin is responsible for keeping the peace in another country during the Olympic Games being held in his country?

    Really?
