Merrill Edge MarketPro - Exiting Positions

  1. Hi all,

    Curious if anybody uses (or has used) Merrill Edge MarketPro for active trading - I’ve run into an issue where while I can execute an entry nearly instantly, the platform doesn’t recognize I am in the trade (and therefore doesn’t let me exit my position) for typically anywhere from 15 to 30 seconds - combine this with MarketPro’s lack of hotkeys, and you can likely envision why this is causing some early morning pain.

    I am in a unique situation where I cannot use a different broker, so I need to make my marriage to MarketPro work out if I want to continue my trading journey.

    I’ve tried calling the support desk a few times, to no avail.

    If you know of a fix, your thoughts are much appreciated.

    *I fully realize next to nobody uses this platform for active trading and, therefore, this post resulting in a solution is unlikely. But, desperate times call for desperate (all) measures.
