What would all of you say the biggest reason for poverty in the USA is today in 2022? I would say poor choices/ bad decision making tops the list . Any thoughts?
The fact that we no longer choose our representatives. Our "representatives" choose us (gerrymandering, no ranked choice voting that prevents anything outside dem/gop umbrella to take root), lifetime appointment of judges, etc.. Plus the fact that 579,000 people in Wyoming holds the same power as 39,512,000 Californians
Not sure if you are joking or not. Ton of chiefs are Indians . Well, certainly a disproportionate number that seems to be going up still
That is a good thing. The senate was created to prevent the small states of the US being dominated by the big states .
Number one determinant of economic poverty: having poor parents. Contrary to popular belief, the USA has one of the worst records of being able to rise above your parents' economic standing.
If your parents are on welfare and teachers tell you that you are wonderful what results can you expect? The dumbing down of education in the last 50 years is a disgrace.
