Monday, was my first day of day trading in 2022, bought 2 contracts of SE $170 puts at $4, out $7.30-$8.00. They're worthless now. Tuesday, $2000 F $24s expiring the 14th. Edited to note: Cost basis on F should be $.27-.30, bulk bought at $.29.
Hi TrailerParkTed, Welcome to the Game. I can only speak for myself. I record all trades, strategy, time/price and try to determine market conditions for each. After a large sample per strategy I try to determine which setup provide the best odds based on performance metrics and market conditions. Thus far I've learned the good things are neither cheap or easy. To your continued trading success.
Final 30 out $.75, I thought it would it $.80 Total investment was about $4000, exit $7000+ Done for the day.
More excellent trading by TPT, but I'm am concerned some unseemly things may have happened in the trailer park. First he takes a vacation and now that he's back he is quitting early. This could be an invasion of the body snatchers situation. We need a volunteer to drop by the Mobile Home Estates and make sure TPT has not started drinking lemon water, exercising and eating tofu.
I am going to try to drop some trades a little early, the Market sure has a short bias on excellent Semi and Software like AMBA, ASAN(CEO bought $1 billion worth last few months) and we need to watch the WFC Feb $57.50Cs Today, Pete Naj said on Wed someone bought the equivalent of 2,000,000 shares or 20,000 contracts(I think he said 20,000 or maybe it was the volume he meant? 50,000 contracts traded I think on Wed, $1.4-$1.75 on Feb $57.50s on Wed. Earnings Today, lets see if the Whale was right. WS Bets talking more about F than TSLA, excellent liquidity.
