Will the GOP base accept or rebel if Lesbian Liz Cheney ever runs for GOP office?

According to the HBO documentary Outrage, she is despised by the general gay community. She is an out-of-the-closet lesbian who still supports politicians with strong anti-homosexual agendas.

But being a lesbian, the knee-jerk base will probably reject her regardless. You can cheat on your wife with another woman and they'll forgive you (Senator Whoremonger) but if you cheat on your wife with another man, it's over (Senator Craig).
