I'm not dismissing him. I just think he's an asshole. And since uninformed Republicans already voted an inveterate asshole into office 4 years ago, it is not beyond them to do so again. Tucker is no fool, but he's a liar, and a punk on his show when he "invites" guests to share their opinions with him. As H4m noted earlier, he simply talks over anyone who disagrees with him. So he basically invites people to talk AT them.
He's definitely an asshole, but he was on CNN's Crossfire before he got his show on FOX News. He's a solid debater. I'm pretty confident he would have beaten Biden this year had he been the nominee and not Trump. He would have gotten that extra less than 1% in WI, PA, and GA.
He's not a solid debater, never has been. We just happen to have a population of 60 million who think reality tv stars should run the country, so our threshold for what a solid debate is, is at sithole country tier levels. I laugh at the absurdity of doubling down on stupid, not at the probability of it working out.
Yes, I remember him on CNN's Crossfire. He always wore a bowtie. But he was all spin. The show itself was a spin show. He has no government experience. He just pisses on people. He also debates with his own set of facts.
He's not going to run against Jon Stewart, who could be president if he wanted to, but is responsible enough to know it's not for him.
Tucker running against these weak dems is a lock for him. A populist fascist w/an IQ higher than room temp is no doubt a danger. We got lucky in many ways w/Trump
