He scolded the congress, a co-equal Constitutional branch of government, as one might a lazy gardener or car wash attendant, except in either case they would probably hit you if you did. He then wandered off into musings about the Fourth of July and how we are all immigrants and how immigrants built this country. I was waiting for him to say " I for example, immigrated from Kenya" but he caught himself in time and veered off into a series of seemingly random phrases about freedom and soldiers and how damn wonderful he and Michelle are. He clearly intends to act outside Constitutional constraints to grant amnesty and citizenship to a good part of the invading horde and dare congress to do anything about it. Sen. Durbin gave the game away with comments about Obama "borrowing" power from congress to do so. That has to be one of the more chilling expressions I have ever heard. How does a President "borrow" power that belongs to another Branch and which that Branch has not given up? Sounds more like stealing. Just to show how cheeky he is, Obama also demanded billions to shore up border security, even though his own actions have created this surge in the invasion. He has had six years to do somehting about border security and has instead done everything possible to open it up. why should congress give him more funds? I know it is futile to hope that the republicans could somehow respond in a coherent manner. A good start would be to tell him he can transfer all the funds he wants from the Justice Department and IRS, eince they are rogue departments acting illeglaly now. More money? No, that would be rewarding his misconduct.

depending on your definition... this type of betrayal during war time could be prosecuted as treason. every single scum politician that threatened that obama would take matters into his own hands should be be investigated for treason. in addition... from sometime in the last few weeks.... making the borders this hard to patrol while terrorism is on the rise... is unacceptable behavior for any representative of this country. if a dirty bomb goes off... every single one of these sobs... in govt that was not working on legislation to seal the border should serve a life sentence. The risk is high... the remedy obvious... if it was just a mistake and not treason... seal the border now.
